_ Question: What is the day of Eid al-Adha?

Answer: There is several feast (eid) to muslims to celebrate, and all combines religion and the world, Eid al-Adha is the tenth day of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah. Twelfth month of the lunar Islamic New Year. The word of al-Adha, is derived from Sacrifice (Gift).
Where each pilgrim from the pilgrims provides one of a three cattle (camels or cows or sheep), As one of the rituals of Hajj (Hajj is where muslims visit Mecca and perform some rituals)). And considered (cattle) as a gift from man to God, to draw near to God ..
This is similar to the story of prophet Ibrahim. "Peace be upon him" by more than four thousand years, when God commanded him to slay his son as an offering. His only son. When he wanted slaughtered him advocated Ibrahim from the sky, Ibrahim lift the knife it was testing you, you and your son Ismail. And God sent down a cattle from the heaven, to be slaughtered instead of Ismail, so they got the mercy of God ..
The Eid al-Adha is not only for Muslims but for all human beings. From Ali bin Abi Talib "peace be upon him" saying: "Every day, do not disobey Allah in which, it is feast (eid).".
